my 4th weekend of poker in Dublin which was held from Friday, October 17 to Monday, October 20, 2008.
AR Nantes-Dublin cost me € 37.
Mespil hotel room at 5 / 10 minute walk from the gambling clubs of Dublin. With Yoda, we had booked 2 nights, to play with in prvision overnight Sunday to Monday.
During this RC, I'll tell you the highlights of each of the three days, mainly on poker, and a little anecdotes offline poker.
Friday, October 17
appointment at 11am on Friday morning with 4 other Rennais: Chupp, Yoda, and DavRider Latophe. We join in Nantes and FCN44 Nicout to take us to the airport. We get there around 12:45. Here we find other poker players Clubpoker: Timus, Mill, Shok + 1 other friends.
We reach the departure lounge, and there find a good thirty poker players ... La Rochelle, Rennes, Nantes, Niort ... Many cities are represented.
The originally scheduled departure was delayed to 14h a good thirty minutes, so that we will achieve Dublin around 15h15 that ... What is problematic is that the IPO (International Poker Open) which I am enrolled in DAY1 starts at 16h ...
Julie and a friend of Nico FCN44 takes us so at hotel or place this tournament .. Except that once arrived in the city center, we realize that it was the wrong place ... IPO: DAY 1A
There are 650 players for this departure. And all of two days on the 1300 players involved, we learn that there will be about 400 french. I've observed on the first rounds of shots, I feel weak. I have not played many hands, I have a picture of a solid player, I decided to reraise to 5k.

Flop T64 with 2 hearts. I CBET, it sends carpet 9k, I pay, hoping that he has AT or the flush draw, but my opponent shows me 66. I returned to 36k
Blinds 400/800 I raise to 3k with QQ in early position, a guy with a stack reraise me 20k to 8k. I saw the carpet a bit frustrated and angry for a long time (since I often raise) it hesitates a lot (so I know it does not KK or AA) and eventually paid with 99. First

But the frustration bcp players know in tournaments. And that's what it would feel to live in all my tournaments WE. My
IPO will close at 23.20 so at 280th place. 90 players will be qualified DAY2 of Sunday, October 19 at 4am. DavRider (the other one who plays with Rennes me what Day1) will be removed 10 before the end of the day.
Frustrated, I decided to go to the hotel (Mespil) to settle a bit, and continue my night in a gambling club, the Fitzwilliam.
Night 1: CG at Fitzwilliam
In Ireland, there are many tables Pot Limit either holdem, omaha either (sometimes mix 2) either blinds 1 / 2 in either 2 / 5.
