with a little late ...
Round 12 272 300 600/1200/100 stack
I change table with this new day begins and I find myself in 1102. It remains
99 players, and the average stack is 78k. In short I am very, very well.
My opponents are all new. I Scott Gray to my left an Irishman who drinks a lot ... a lot, and felt like the guinness I never felt ... Well it was a real infection
2 strokes or I or R pf and I show the weakness of post flop and I bet on an opponent fold
These 2 shots will be useful since the 5 th or 6 hand I open a pp2. I'll pay the revival of a fairly active guy in 1106 at the beginning of a carpet with day2 large (130k). And I hit a bingo flop 723 rainbow. Pot approx 10k I check / call flop 6k. Q I check turn. He bet 13k and 31k I CR. It reflects and password. Hop and a little pot to 20k.
2 / 3 hand after two opponents to my right and send each excited huge bets. A 2 (1109 siege shows a bluff) ... Yes, this is not the same table as yesterday ...
Labor after j'open
1109, the excited the previous shot put 3500. I decide to 3 bet to 11k. The guy insta-4-bet to 32k. I decide not to let me do and I shove. My opponent hesitates a few minutes before bedtime
My carpet now points to 330k. Earlier today
Round 13 800/1600/200 330k stack
new change table. Winamax 2 new players to my left. I hear he is the winner of the last of the EDC is 3 seats to my left. For the moment not too many bp, it has an average stack of 100k.
I watch the table quietly without moving. One guy seems asset to my right. At the 3rd hand he raises to 5600, I opened
Following this move, I decided to reopen my game I
R J9o in middle in 5100. The player who threw Winamax AK call me earlier. And it is 2 to see the flop J78. I CBET to 7.2 k. He thought and send me mats for 60k ... I'm not sure that I beat ... and then layer my hand quite easily, despite the flop rather favorable. He shows me KK.
I lose a lot of shots to fall below 300k.
I discover later
He thought long and eventually pay me with
is then paused, and my carpet is just 306,900 chips
Round 14 1000/2000/200 stack 306900
R
a guy to 6.2 k. I call in position with TT. The guys in the blinds call. It is 4 to see the flop 422. Everyone check. I bet 12k. SB CR me to 30k, the other 2 go to bed. I think, and given the player profile, I think it would squeeze pf with JJ +, especially oop with a raiser and a caller. So I think unless it has to be 44. But it will more often 55 to 99 in this spot. So I shove. He thought for a long, long time. He still 60k behind. And I wonder if wedged in position with a big pair. I remain silent. He hesitates again, and finally told me that he sleeps a "overpair" but I think 88-TT. (so it must be 55-77). I told him good read, but show him.
The table is much more aggressive but I find good spots to squeeze, steal and carpet means and I is approaching 400k at the end of this level
Round 15 1200/2400/300 stack of 395k
No special notes on this level. I more or less stagnant
Round 16 1500/3000/300 stack 410K 52 players left
Same, no notes on this particular level. I more or less stagnant
Round 17 2000/4000/400 stack of 380k
first big mistake: R 10,500 j'open
Round 18 3000/6000/500 stack 540k
I always have a very deep mat with 90 BB. I tighten my game but I'm a few small stacks carpet AQ vs. JT, TT vs KQ all my hands hold. And I miss the 600k
Round 19 4000/8000/500 stack of 655k
... That's what I tell myself ...
... That's what I do not ...
... I still bite the fingers ...
Round 20 5000/10000/1000 stack 740K 31 players left.
Manuba joined my table, just to my right. I have position on him is a good thing. He R bcp hands on the blinds 5k 23k / 10k and a lot of respect until then. I am
button everybody goes down. A player short stack to about 120k in BB alone. (The guy between the 2 of us just get out, so no SB). He put his BB, everybody goes down. I open 8TB, and decides to send mats take its 10k. His range of hands to call is low ... so it's almost automatic, I push with "any two ... except that he
Main just after I open
short I spend 740K to 450k very quickly. I am a little frustrated. The blinds rotate, I R 88 25k a few hands later, a guy on the button moved all in for my 100k, I fold ... And here I am yet to get off at 350k ...
Round 21 6000/12000/1000 stack 350k
It makes me change tables. I am now a bit below average. There is less than 1 hour to play before the end of day 2 and 23 players left. I'm tired I can not wait nervously as the day ends.
J'open AKo on my new table UTG + 1. I come, and AC joking a bit, apparently the other side of the table key bcp bcp in. I R 21k, everybody down and I proudly announcing that my AKo s it, the game runs at last. Main
just after DD, wow, it's the rush! I R again at 31k. Everyone folded to the BB that call. This player has still 120k behind. Rather flop in my favor: QJ2 rainbow. We all checkons 2. The turn reveals a 6 with a flush draw possible. Check it again. I now put my flopped set of jacks: 42k, I shoved the board ... I look, I at this stage the 2nd nut hand, I pay, then, and he shows me AA. River Q and I crack the AA for the first time in the tournament. So I
lot of success in this new table back up to 500k. All is well, I have a good image. And I decide
The flop shows me a nice
At the time, I tell myself that this card is perfect for him to bluff me. The fact that up so fast and so big make me think of a bluff and I push my carpet without thinking ... Without taking into account remaining 10 minutes of play before the end of day 2, without taking into account that I have 430K behind, and there full of short stack in the last 20 players, without taking into account that the GTI is at hand, and without imagining that one second can have a monster ... But in the advanced chips to get me my belt, I I said that I may be doing a big mistake, a huge fault trial ... and of course my opponent insta call with
And a whole world collapses. Why this move! why at this point in the tournament! Just the most important tournament I've ever done .... SICK MOVE
... It is now one week that the coup took place, and I still feel the same regret ... the 150k chips that are left after this one, gives me a meager hope for tomorrow we'll have to play the all out.
Sunday, February 8: Day 3 at 14h recovery
Round 22 8000/16000/1000 150k stack of 20 players left
Carpet
first hand T6o, I take the blinds + ante: stack 180k.
I let a few shots. I find myself in the big blind with
3 hands after the cut off I discovered
A great tournament, a great experience, great games. Thank you all for supporting me, thank you to those who consoled me and encouraged me to end my tournament. I will return to other major live tournament, and I will make good results!
Anecdote 2: In round 12, I told you about some of Scott Gray. I had a bit of fucking him so he stank of beer. I prayed to not be near him for the rest of the weekend. The next day, I found again next to me on another table. And the day after such a side event (300 €) is sympathetic, he tells me, he plays very often, he played the full ACF of times, he was playing time or Benyamine was playing too ... Anyway, we talk a lot ...
the evening, returning to the apartment, turning on the TV, I see playing in a tournament that seems quite important. I said to myself ... Damn is that this seems to be known drinker of guinness that stinks ... I do a quick google search and I discovered it on a chart rather very correct, including a 4th place in the main event of 2002, winning an EPT ... far from being a beginner this drunkard lol
Anecdote 3: Monday, February 9, 21h: With Christelle we do a tournament game in a circle in the center of Dublin called "Jackpot." This is a big beef with the 10 + 1 € unlimited buyin rebuy to 5 € for 90 min. In short, a great tournament for gambler, but also accessible in price (to allow Chris to play for not too expensive with all the same game right (once the rebuy past ...)
I finally win this tournament small (42 Players start) and j'empoche € 350 after having taken only one rebuy ($ 15 €).
Thanks for reading and see you soon!
