Oculus has seen ... BMW embedded in the retina with the projection flash


Who has not railed against the number of advertisements growing film. Following the sessions, I've even got to point me 20 to 30 minutes after the time indicated. But now BMW will give us almost want to arrive early for the pub.

We need to go back 40 years to remember the initiative of Coca-Cola with the introduction of subliminal images in their spot in cinema. With his new spot in Germany, BMW uses the technique of projection flash comparable to what happens when viewing the sun and closes his eyes then.

The video itself is well made but nothing to lose sight. A motorcycle rider explains his passion into a non-branded video black and white with well-chosen words. The surprise comes when the three words "close your eyes" come from the mouth of the pilot and make us realize that the letters BMW are listed in our eyes!

Tell me something . And I Will Forget.
Show me something. And I CAN remember.
Involve me. And I Will Understand.

With this move, BMW has the virtue out of its traditional framework while remaining elegant. Although some very good things have been done to the movies, Coca-Cola Zero and 13th Street to name a few, this lack of brand experience and commitment to the consumer, that BMW offers us.
